| Dyma set o bibddawnsiau
wedi'u hysgrifenu yn yr amser confensiynol ar gyfer pibddawnsiau sef
4/4 ond mae'r ffeiliau sain yn chwarae gyda sgip fel pibddawnsiau; mae
mân wahaniaeth rhwng ffeil sain Y Mwnci sydd â'r sgip sydyn wrth ddotio
yn amser 4/4 a'r ddwy arall yn cael eu chwarae yn 12/8. Mae Y
Mwnci yn set Medi
2017, yn cael ei chwarae fel rîl mewn amser, 4 fel y’i nodir a
hefyd fel pibddawns, ac mae Pibddawns Abertawe yn cael ei chwarae fel
rîl yn set Awst 2019. Mae Siân Phillips yn chwarae fersiwn fyw dda o Bibddawns Caerfyrddin ar ei ffidil ar yr albwm a recordiodd rhai blynyddoedd yn ôl ac mae yn ei llyfr alawon ffidil. |
This
is a set of hornpipes (pibddawnsiau)
written in the conventional 4/4 time but the sound files
play with the skip of hornpipes with a subtle difference between Y Mwnci which has the sharp skip of
dotted 4/4 and the more gentle skip of other two which are played in
12/8. Y Mwnci is included in the September 2017 set, played in straight 4 time as scored and also as a hornpipe, and Pibddawns Abertawe is played as a reel in the August 2019 set. Siân Phillips plays a good live version of Pibddawns Caerfyrddin on her fiddle on the album she recorded a few years ago and includes it in her tune book. |
