Dyma un o'r setiau alawon traddodiadol llonaf sydd i'w cael ac felly wedi'i enwi'n Llonder. Maent wedi'u hysgrifennu yn amser 12/8, gyda'r amseriad cywir i bob nodyn, er mai 4/4 yw'r cyflwyniad arferol, gan dderbyn bod angen cynnwys y sgip wrth chwarae pibddawns, fel y gwelir yn rhai alawon eraill ar y safle hon. This set of hornpipes is one of the happiest you could hear, hence the title Llonder (Happiness). They have been scored in 12/8 time: hornpipes are normally written in straight 4/4 for simplicity, with the skip in the timing understood, as you can here in other sets on this site. Robin Huw Bowen introduced Pibddawns Meirionnydd  and Pibddawns Penrhos to Y Glerorfa. The source of Byth ar y Sul is lost to time.
